BIBLE
We believe that the BIBLE (the Old and New Testaments) is the inspired Word of GOD. The Bible is infallible and the supreme authority and guide for faith, all doctrine and conduct.
GOD
We believe in the one eternal GOD, Father and Son and Holy Spirit, Maker of heaven and earth and all things visible and invisible. GOD is perfect in sovereignty, wisdom, holiness, love, justice, and mercy.
GOD THE SON
We believe in JESUS CHRIST, the eternal Son of GOD and the Only Begotten (and not made) of the Father. He is the very image of the Father and of one essence with the Father. In Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities. Through the Son, GOD the Father reconciled all things to Himself by making peace through His Son’s blood shed on the cross. Jesus was crucified, died, and buried. On the third day, HE rose again and after forty days HE ascended into heaven and sat at the right hand of the Father. HE shall come again with glory to judge the world.
GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the indwelling, illuminating, regenerating, and sanctifying work of GOD the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Lord and giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father through/and the Son. He is of one essence with the Father and the Son. It is through GOD the Holy Spirit that man experiences the new birth upon initial faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
THE FALL & SALVATION OF MAN
We believe in the fall of Man. Man was created in the image of GOD. Sin separated him from his Maker and thereby incurred death. Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, died for our sins on the cross, and through His blood, we are saved. Thus, man’s only hope of salvation is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the SON of GOD. Salvation is received through confession and repentance of sin, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ man becomes an heir of God and receives eternal life.
CHURCH
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the head of His church. The church is an assembly of believers who make up the body of Christ. The church is called as the light of the world. We believe the ordinances of the church are:
SANCTIFICATION: Sanctification is an act of separation from evil and of dedication unto God. GOD is holy and HE desires us to be holy as HE is holy. It is through the Holy Spirit that believers are being transformed into the image of Christ and are enabled to live a godly and holy life pleasing to the Father.
MISSION: The mission of the church is: evangelizing, baptizing, making disciples, preaching, teaching, and healing. Divine healing was an integral part of our Lord Jesus’ ministry. Deliverance from sickness is the privilege of all believers.
WATER BAPTISM: All who repent and believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord are to be baptized. By immersion in water, they declare that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in the newness of life.
HOLY COMMUNION: All who believe in Jesus Christ should regularly participate in the breaking of bread and taking the fruit of the vine, the symbol of the memorial of the Lord’s suffering and death on the cross till HE comes again in His glory.
THE RETURN OF CHRIST
We believe that the Lord Jesus will soon return, in power and glory, to judge the world and to complete His plan of salvation. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with Satan and his demons, the beast and the false prophet, will be condemned to everlasting punishment in the Lake of Fire. Those whose names are written in the Book of Life, GOD will dwell with them. They will be His people and GOD Himself will be with them and be their GOD.
